Compatibility:
HAWK
will run on LX80xx/90xx devices from 4th Generation onwards and V8/V80 vario
only.
HAWK
will run on LXNAV S10/S100 Standalone Vario devices
The
easiest way to check for compatibility with HAWK is to install the latest
version of the device firmware and go to Setup->About.

S-Series
Stand-alone variometers
LXNAV has the most advanced vario systems available today. They all have
a built in inertial platform (3 axis accelerometer, 4 axis gyros) which are
used for precise wind calculation, AHRS and fast vario response. In the
latest varios, the mechanical needle is replaced by a graphic needle. This
graphical needle responds faster than a stepper motor used for driving a
conventional mechanical needle.

The LXNAV S3 is a standalone
digital variometer and speed to flycalculator. Mechanical needle driven by
stepper motor allows fast response and very accurate vertical speed
indication. A two-inch 320x240 sunshine readable screen displays user
adjustable parameters. An integrated rotary switch with push button is used
to setup all the parameters. Integrated logbook.
